Biography
Kelly Raabe is a lifetime resident of the Greater Vancouver Area. With roots in the Fraser Valley, Kelly moved to Vancouver while attending Simon Fraser University. With friends and family from Chilliwack to West Vancouver, to White Rock, Kelly is well-versed in many of the niche residential areas around the Lower Mainland.
It was at Simon Fraser University that she completed her Bachelor of Arts from the Faculty of Applied Science in Communication and Publishing. This led to a career in marketing and communication in the web industry, the architectural lighting industry and the Cruise Ship industry. Eventually her career path led to Real Estate sales in the form of pre-construction new developments with Polygon Homes, and then in the re-sale market with Dexter Associates Realty.
Kelly's major in Communication and minor in Publishing, with its strong focus on marketing, advertising and the use of traditional and contemporary print mediums, has been a great asset in the development of her Real Estate career. It is through these studies that she has developed her ability to provide her clients with the most up-to-date approach to Real Estate Marketing, including tactics such as web optimization and multi-media applications.
However, more important than her ability to successfully market her clients' homes is Kelly's focus on knowledge, personalized service, and a relationship-based style of doing business. Her family background has a strong tradition of entrepreneurship and a passion for building long-term relationships with people. Kelly's beliefs lie in a good old-fashioned work ethic, honesty, and trust on both a personal and professional level.
In between her busy Real Estate schedule, Kelly finds brief moments for her hobbies and interests which include painting classes at the Point Grey Community Centre, skiing, spending time with her extended family at Cultus Lake, or viewing the show homes of new-home developments with her husband, Jeff DeJong, who shares her passion in this area.
